Long Deep Slow (aka as Yin Yoga) is a deep, slow and often profound practice. Integrated in the longer, more passive holds is a meditative awareness of breath, mindfulness and presence. This more quiet and still practice helps to tap into intuition and deep listening.

This class helps to target deeper connective tissues especially around the hips, pelvis and lower spine. Restorative poses may be included. The restorative aspect will aid in creating greater calmness, deep relaxation and therapeutic support.

Long Deep Slow (aka as Yin Yoga) is a perfect complement to the dynamic and muscular (Chinese: yang) styles of yoga that emphasise on building up internal heat and the strengthening and stretching of our muscles (e.g. Vinyasa Flow Yoga).
