Room Temperature

We heat our yoga rooms to a comfortable 25 - 30 C max. depending on the season. In summer we easily teach our classes unheated if the body is already warm. Some of our classes are less heated (Flow) whereas others are a little more (Hot Flow).

There are a few reasons why we choose to practice yoga in a comfortably heated room. A warm environmental temperature helps the body to warm up and makes it easier to relax and let go of any (muscular) tension.

Light sweating helps to clean out our systems. Toxins are carried to the surface of the skin in sweat, where they float magically away during the process of evaporation.

Overheating and profuse sweating will result in stress for the body which is the opposite of what we want to practice in yoga.

Try our different classes and decide what feels good to you.

WHAT FEELS GOOD TO YOU IS GOOD FOR YOU.
